About This Course
The Higher National Diploma (HND) in Digital Technologies aims to enhance your career and employability in the areas of Artificial Intelligence by developing their skillset to study deployed Intelligent Systems and evaluate technical and ethical challenges and opportunities.
This diploma is equivalent the first 2 years of a bachelor’s degree, allowing students seamless transfers to a top-up degree with over 200 universities worldwide.
This course focuses on building current skills required in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and allow students to develop up-to-date knowledge in AI solutions and applications. Students would investigate AI fundamentals including data gathering, validation, and processing along with other related topics.
On successful completion of this course, students are introduced to the science behind machine intelligence and the philosophical debate around the ambitions of simulating human intelligence to solve real-world problems. Students will be guided to appreciate AI types and applications and develop a better understanding of aspects related to intelligent agents. Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI), Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), Ambient Intelligence, the major differences between top-down and bottom-up approaches to AI, and understanding Machine Learning (ML) algorithms are also covered in this course.

Entry Requirements
- 55% overall grades for CBSE, American, Filipino and Thanaweya Amma in Grade 12 exams.
- IB minimum of 24 points.
- 2 C`s at AS Levels.
- 2 D`s at 'A' Levels.
- BTEC Level 3 Diploma with a minimum pass profile.
- Work experience with two references.
- Additional English language qualifications/tests may apply where the medium of teaching is not English.
